一针一线总关联——常用关联词(上)

1.举例：

for example，for instance例如;

take ... for example 拿 ... ... 来说;

namely 即 ... ...;

such as 如 ... ...;

that is ( to say ) 也就是说。

2.转折：

but 但是;

however 然而;

while 而，却;

on the contrary 正相反;

on the other hand 另一方面;

in contrast 与此相反;

in spite of 尽管。

3.并列：

not only ...but also... 不但......而且......;

both ... and ...既......又......;

either ... or...不是......就是......;

neither ...nor ...既不......也不......。

4.因果：

because ，for因为;

because of =on account of ;

thus 因此，从而;

so 因此;

so...that...如此......以致.....;

since =now ( that )既然;

due to 由于;

as a result ( of )结果(......的结果);

thanks to 多亏，由于;

therefore 因此。

5.概括：

generally speaking 一般说来;

in short = in a few words 简言之;

in conclusion 最后地;

in a/one word 总之;

all in all 总而言之;

on the whole 从总的来看。
